challenge

For over 30 years, Methodist Sports Medicine has served the residents of Indiana and neighboring states with the best orthopedic care. While specializing in sports medicine and comprehensive orthopedic care, Methodist Sports Medicine serves more than just athletes.

In 2019, Methodist Sports Medicine jumpstarted the First Line Tactical Athlete Program that was designed to serve the tactical athletes and first responders of Indiana. The First Line Tactical Athlete Program was developed to provide the highest quality of care which includes screenings, patient education, individualized preventative programming, thorough on-site evaluation, imaging, rehabilitation services and referrals to Methodist Sports Medicine’s network of subspecialists physicians.

Having partnered with the Carmel Police Department, KM&A worked with Methodist Sports Medicine to engage the media for the announcement of the partnership, as it was the first program in the state to partner with a police department.

action

Leading up to January 13, 2020, KM&A began reaching to the media to cover the official announcement. This included the creation of a press release to the media that was distributed to national and local outlets, as well as targeted pitching to individuals throughout the city of Indianapolis and Carmel to cover the event.

Gearing up for the event, KM&A secured an interview with a local television station that would be played the morning of the announcement and worked with the Carmel Police Department to ensure that everything was set up for the press conference.
